Davao Aguilas

Founded in 2017, Davao Aguilas emerged as a bold addition to the Philippines Football League, aiming to bring top-flight football to Mindanao. The club established its home at the Davao del Norte Sports Tourism Complex in Tagum City, quickly becoming a symbol of regional pride. Despite a short-lived presence that lasted only two seasons, the Aguilas were known for their aggressive recruitment of both local talent and foreign imports, seeking to challenge the established powers of Manila. Their ambitious approach and passionate fanbase left a lasting impression on Philippine football before the club was dissolved in 2019.
