Spartak Moscow defender Christopher Vu says he would consider getting a tattoo of the club's logo if the team wins a trophy, following teammate Barco's similar pledge.

Spartak Moscow defender Christopher Vu has expressed his willingness to commemorate a potential trophy triumph with a permanent tribute. The Brazilian-born player stated that he would be open to getting a tattoo of the club's iconic diamond logo should the team lift silverware this season.

Vu's comments came in response to a recent statement by his teammate, Ezequiel Barco, who declared he would ink a Spartak tattoo if the club wins a title. “I also don’t mind,” Vu told the club’s official website. “I usually dedicate tattoos to significant moments in my life. If this becomes my first career trophy… I like Spartak’s logo. Even my little son, every time I come home, excitedly points to the diamond.”

The 27-year-old joined Spartak from French side Rennes in September 2025. He had been with Rennes since September 2022, making a move to the Russian Premier League that has since seen him become an integral part of the squad.

In the current season, Vu has made 24 appearances across all competitions for Spartak, scoring two goals. His performances have contributed to the team’s push for honors, and the prospect of winning a first trophy in his career clearly holds special meaning for him.

Spartak fans have embraced the defender’s sentiment, seeing it as a sign of his commitment to the club. Tattoos have become a common way for players to mark milestones, and Vu’s willingness to permanently ink the club’s emblem underscores his dedication.

As Spartak continues its campaign, the possibility of a title remains alive. Should they succeed, Vu will have a lasting reminder of the achievement on his skin. For now, the defender is focused on the remaining matches, with the hope that a trophy—and a new tattoo—will follow.
