Clermont Foot 63, commonly known as Clermont Foot, is a professional football club based in Clermont-Ferrand, the historic capital of the Auvergne region in central France. Founded in 1990 through the merger of two local clubs, Stade Clermontois and AS Montferrand, the club was established with the ambition to create a unified and competitive force for the city.
