Team profile
Alloa Athletic
Alloa Athletic, founded in 1878, is one of Scotland’s oldest football clubs, playing its home matches at the compact Indodrill Stadium in the town of Alloa. The club has spent most of its history in the lower divisions, but it notably reached the Scottish Championship in the 2010s, securing back-to-back promotions under manager Jack Ross. Known for a resilient, hard-working style, Alloa Athletic has also produced famous cup upsets, including a 2015 League Cup victory over top-tier Dundee United. Despite limited resources, the Wasps maintain strong local support and a reputation for developing young talent through their academy.
