Founded in 1926 in the historic Karagümrük district of Istanbul, Fatih Karagümrük is a club deeply woven into the fabric of its community. Originally established as Karagümrükspor, the club adopted its current name in 2014 following a merger, linking it to the broader Fatih municipality.
