Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, universally known as Wolves, is a historic English football institution founded in 1877. The club's origins trace back to St. Luke's Church school in Blakenhall, Wolverhampton, and they were among the twelve founding members of the Football League in 1888. Their iconic old gold and black colors, adopted in 1891, have become synonymous with the club's identity. Wolves play their home matches at the 31,750-capacity Molineux Stadium, a ground they have occupied since 1889, making it one of the first purpose-built football stadiums in the UK. Located in the city of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands, the club is a pillar of the local community. Their golden era came under the legendary manager Stan Cullis in the 1950s, where they won three First Division titles (1953–54, 1957–58, 1958–59) and two FA Cups (1949, 1960).
