Fortuna Sittard is a professional football club based in the city of Sittard, in the southern Dutch province of Limburg. Founded in 1968 through the merger of two local rivals, Sittardia and Fortuna '54, the club carries a legacy that stretches back to the early days of professional football in the Netherlands.
