Founded in 1905, Association de la Jeunesse Auxerroise, universally known as AJ Auxerre, is a historic French football club from the Burgundy city of Auxerre. The club's story is inextricably linked to the legendary Guy Roux, who managed the team for an astonishing 44 years across multiple spells, transforming it from a modest amateur side into a formidable force in French football.
