Deportivo Pasto, officially known as Asociación Deportivo Pasto, is a professional football club based in the city of Pasto, Nariño, Colombia. Founded on October 12, 1949, the club emerged from the merger of several local teams, with the goal of representing the southern Colombian region in national football. Known by its passionate fans as "El Equipo Volcánico" (The Volcanic Team) or "Los Volcánicos," the club's identity is deeply intertwined with the dramatic landscape of the Andes and the nearby Galeras volcano.
