RKC Waalwijk, commonly known simply as Waalwijk, is a professional football club from the city of Waalwijk in the province of North Brabant, Netherlands. Founded on August 26, 1940, the club's establishment during the German occupation of the Netherlands in World War II is a notable part of its origin story. The name RKC stands for Rooms Katholieke Combinatie (Roman Catholic Combination), reflecting its roots in the local Catholic community. The club plays its home matches at the Mandemakers Stadion, a modest but atmospheric venue with a capacity of around 7,508 spectators. Waalwijk is known for its tenacious spirit and has historically been a yo-yo club, frequently moving between the Eredivisie (top tier) and the Eerste Divisie (second tier).
