Founded in 1907 in the historic university city of Uppsala, Sweden, IK Sirius is a club deeply woven into the local fabric. Its name, inspired by the brightest star in the night sky, reflects the city's long-standing association with astronomy and academia. For much of its history, Sirius oscillated between the top tiers of Swedish football, establishing itself as a respected, if not dominant, force.
